The VISION for DPD
“Students who are desperate, passionate disciples of Christ leading their peers by example into a deeper personal relationship with Jesus Christ and in service for Him.”
The MISSION for DPD
“To lead students into a deeper personal relationship with Jesus through the spiritual disciplines, to equip them to do the work of the ministry and to give each one an opportunity to edify the body of Christ through servant leadership.”
Desires of a Desperate Passionate Disciple:
- Pursue Jesus in a more passionate, personal, and real way than ever before.
- Begin to practice and incorporate into daily life the Spiritual Disciplines such as: worship, solitude, fellowship, confession, fasting, service, prayer, sacrifice, study, celebration, submission, and silence.
- Be trained and prepared to do ministry in the local church body and community.
- Learn to “edify” (build up) the body of Christ.
